1. Who we are
Sizoro is a South Africa-focused home-services marketplace. The Information Officer can be contacted at support@sizoro.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect account details such as name, email address, phone number, role, language preference, and country. We collect booking details, home-service addresses, support messages, ratings, payment references, payout details, device data, diagnostic logs, and fraud-prevention signals. When identity verification launches, we may collect identity number and verification results through our identity verification partner. We do not store full card numbers.
3. Lawful basis
We process personal information with your consent and where processing is necessary to perform the Sizoro contract under POPIA section 11. We may also process information for legal obligations, legitimate safety and fraud-prevention interests, and regulatory reporting.
4. How we use information
We use information to create accounts, match Workers with Employers, process Paystack payments and payouts, verify identity, prevent fraud, provide support, send service communications, investigate disputes, improve reliability, and meet tax, audit, legal, and regulatory duties.
5. Third parties
We share only what is needed with service providers including our identity verification partner for KYC, Paystack for payments and payouts, Twilio for SMS and WhatsApp, Google for Maps and Places, Microsoft Clarity for session replay, Sentry and Crashlytics for error tracking, email providers, hosting providers, and professional advisers.
6. Retention
Booking, payment, payout, tax, and audit records may be retained for 7 years where SARS or financial-record rules require it. Other personal information is deleted or anonymised within 30 days of a valid deletion request unless we must retain it for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, dispute, or accounting reasons.
7. POPIA rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, objection, or restriction where POPIA allows it. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa. Contact support@sizoro.com for privacy requests.
8. International transfers
Paystack uses South African banking infrastructure for supported local payments and payouts. Some providers, including Sentry, Microsoft Clarity, Google, hosting, and analytics providers, may process information outside South Africa under contractual, security, and transfer safeguards.
9. Security
Sizoro uses access controls, encryption in transit, logging, monitoring, and provider security controls to protect personal information. No system is risk-free, so users should keep account credentials secure and report suspected misuse promptly.
