How booking requests work for workers
A funded request reserves an employer's money while you decide. Accept or decline by the exact deadline shown on the request so the employer can plan and your profile remains reliable.
Respond by the exact deadline
Every manual request shows an exact date and time in SAST. Active response time runs from 07:00 to 20:00 and pauses overnight, and no deadline can run later than one hour before the job. Accepting confirms the booking; declining promptly helps the employer find someone else.
| Time before the job | Time to respond |
|---|---|
| At least 24 hours | Up to 4 active hours |
| 6 to 24 hours | Up to 1 active hour |
| 2 to 6 hours | Up to 20 active minutes |
| Under 2 hours | No manual request is left open |
| Trusted auto-accept | Confirmed immediately when live checks pass |
Use your calendar and pause controls
Keep your weekly availability and booking rules current. Pause new requests when you cannot respond. Pausing affects new intake and may decline open requests, but it never cancels bookings you have already accepted.
Unanswered funded requests
After the first and second unanswered funded request, Sizoro pauses new-request intake until you reconfirm your availability. A third within a rolling 90-day window suspends new-booking intake and profile visibility for support review. This is not an account suspension, and already accepted bookings remain in place.
Late cancellations and no-shows
Worker cancellations have policy tiers based on timing and circumstances. Three active major cancellation strikes within 90 days can suspend new-booking intake. Confirmed no-shows and safety restrictions are separate blockers. You can appeal an incorrect strike from your strike history or ask support to review an intake restriction.
Availability reconfirmation
Sizoro asks inactive workers to reconfirm around day 27 and can pause new intake after 30 days without confirmation. Expired cancellation strikes are removed from the active count; when fewer than three major strikes remain, the cancellation-strike restriction is lifted and one availability reconfirmation is required.
Accepted bookings remain obligations
Once you accept, the employer can rely on you arriving at the agreed time. Keep the booking, use the in-app cancellation flow only when necessary and contact support for emergencies. Pausing intake or losing profile visibility does not cancel an accepted booking.
Worker booking questions
What happens if I miss the deadline?
The request expires, the employer's hold is released and there are no earnings. Missed funded requests can require availability reconfirmation or a review of new-request intake.
Does an intake suspension cancel my accepted bookings?
No. It pauses new-booking intake and profile visibility only. You must still complete bookings you already accepted.
How do I ask for a review?
Update your calendar first. Use the support-review link shown with an intake suspension, or appeal a cancellation strike from your strike history.
Keep your calendar accurate
Update your hours, pause new requests when needed and confirm that you are available to receive work.
